Ladoix 1er Cru la Corvée

These vines were given to local peasants (to manage as part of their "duty") by the Lord of Ladoix.

The parcel has been passed down from generation to generation and it is now the oldest vineyard that the family owns.

This wine is fruity, generous and well balanced. It has the potential to age very well. La Corvée has been rewarded and honoured many times.

Drink this lovely wine with local specialties such as boeuf Bourgignon and "oeufs en meurette "(eggs poached in red wine and served with a Pinot Noir sauce!).
